Salman Khan starring Bodyguard to roll in December

Salman Khan will be seen in yet another south film remake, Bodyguard, a romcom that will begin filming in December.

There are rumors that Deepika Padukone will play lead opposite Salman, but the actress has not signed the dotted line yet.

Salman Khan's brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri will produce the film.

"We are still completing other important tasks before we decide on signing the actors," Agnihotri told Spicezee.

Bodyguard is currently being remade in Tamil under the title Kaavalkaaran, headlining Asin and Joseph Vijay. Siddique is the helmer of all three versions.

Dileep and Nayantara were the lead stars in the Bodyguard which released in theaters in January 2010.

Bodyguard revolves around a young man with a strange proclivity - He always wants to emulate anyone he admires. He doesn't care what his hero does - he could be a cop or a crook. Also, when he starts admiring someone he wants to be close to the person, act as his bodyguard!

Salman Khan recently wrapped up filming for Arbaaz Khan's debut production, Dabangg, with co-star debutant Sonakshi Sinha. He is currently dubbing for the film.

He will be next start work on the remake of South film Ready, a musical romcom, with co-star Asin.
