After the exit of Aishwarya Rai from Salman Khan’s life, the guy looked crestfallen and utterly devastated. But it was a gal from foreign shores who tugged at Salman’s heart and became known as the beautiful and gorgeous Katrina Kaif.
However, after 7 years of courting, it was a shocker of an announcement when Salman came to the fore admitting that the relationship is over. Though what went wrong is pretty much unknown and shrouded in speculations, some feel it was Katrina’s alleged link-up with Ranbir while some suggest the age gap was weighing heavily on Katrina’s mind.
In either case, the staunch fact remains that now Katrina stands on the threshold of a life sans Salman; something she may find hard to digest and difficult to bear. For all her Bollywood years, Katty has been living under Sallu’s shadow with his protecting arms wrapped firmly around her shoulders.
Salman mentored her, guided her and allowed her to embark on a career which gave her some unforeseeable amount of fame and enviable stardom. But the irony is that the same stardom proved a death-blow to the much coveted relationship. Though, she has found a footing in the industry, yet a life without the usual Salman would be intriguing for the young Katrina.
