It’s Salman Khan vs. Amitabh Bachchan it’s panache vs. élan, it’s a riveting war for survival vs. a rush to become a millionaire, it’s Bigg Boss vs. Kaun Banega Crorepati and it calls for a fiercely contested battle for the prime time telly slot of 9 pm.
Anchored by the brawny Salman Khan in his cucumber cool style is the 24-hour camera surveyed Bigg Boss which begins 3rd October, 9 pm on Colors. Hosted by the legendary SirAmitabh Bachchan in his peerless baritone voice is the rags-to-riches tales of Kaun Banega Crorepati that rams into Sony TV 11th October.
Both the shows have a successful history behind; both have spawned a faithful following; both are appealing, intriguing, interesting and arresting. With both the shows to air at the same time on weekdays, the viewers are spoilt for choice yet they find themselves in a precarious position as one show has to be sacrificed for the sake of the other (though, repeat episode is an option for those who are desirous of catching both).
Salman Khan ironically replaces Sir Amitabh who had been his predecessor when he handled the reins of Bigg Boss 3. Now that both shall be contesting for TRPs, it’s upto you to sit back and enjoy as Salman and Bachchan invade your drawing rooms. At 9 pm- ‘Lock kiya jaaye’…Or ‘Break toh banta hai bossss’…… you decide….
