Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan together in furniture commercial!!

Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Gauri Khan, who generally maintains a low profile in comparison to her high- flying superstar husband, has decided to feature in a commercial for furniture to be aired on television.

The commercial will have Gauri Khan and husband Shah Rukh Khan praising the already popular furniture line, while enjoying the ambience in the surroundings. The commercial will be directed by Sunhil Sippy, who had earlier directed ‘snip’.

Sources close to ‘Mannat’ say that this is for the first time that Gauri Khan has agreed to act in a full-fledged commercial for the television. The shooting for the ad film will take place in Mumbai and is likely to be shot very soon.

Presently, Shah Rukh Khan is busy with his film ‘Ra 1’ in London and after completing this spell the shooting for the commercial is likely to take place. In any case, what Gauri Khan and Shah Rukh Khan are going to do now, has already been done by Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai for a soap brand.

Even other star couples like Saif Ali Khan-Kareena Kapoor and Akshay Kumar-Twinkle Khanna, etc, are adored by the audiences in ads or otherwise.

Though Gauri Khan had earlier been offered several endorsement deals but the lady always backed out due to her decision to keep away from the limelight. Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan have been one of the most glamorous and successful married couples of the tinsel town with long innings together.However, recent power list of bollywood has placed Shah Rukh Khan behind Aamir Khan, who retained his number one position with hit flicks like ‘3 Idiots’, ‘Ghajini’ and ‘Taare Zameen Par’ at the box office.

While Shah Rukh Khan’s production house Red Chillies Entertainment could not do much, Aamir Khan Productions have been earning name and moolah through its films like ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’. Upcoming ‘Peepli Live’ has already been making waves in the Industry with its ‘Mehangai Dayaan’ number.
