We had reported earlier that the star and his wife Kiran Rao will be gracing the Toronto Film Festival to promote their venture ‘Dhobi Ghat’. Now we hear that the couple will get a special privilege to dine with Prince Charles and Camila Parker Bowles at the Marlborough House in Westminster, London. It is said that Prince Charles was impressed with Aamir’s talent and his works in Indian Cinema – based on which the honourable personality reportedly extended a wine-and-dine invitation to the star and his wife.
After the screening of ‘Dhobi Ghat’, Aamir is said to fly London for the release of his film 'Peepli Live' in UK.
As a matter of fact, Prince Charles earlier had a brush with Bollywood when in 1980 he had met actress Padmini Kolhapure during his official trip to India. It had been a sensation when the beauty had kissed the Prince of Wales.
