The decision of Bollywood starlet, Katrina Kaif [follow Katrina kaif on facebook] can annoy her good pal Ranbir Kapoor as she has signed on the dotted lines to star opposite his arch-rival, Imran Khan.
Filmmakers have been trying every bid to cast Imran Khan and Kat together for a long time and finally YRF won the race and now the two most wanted stars of today are set to star in the yet untitled upcoming flick of debutant Ali Abbas Zafar which will be made under the banner of Yashraj Films.
Ali Abbas Zafar has worked with YRF and has assisted in films like Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, Tashan and Badmaash Company.
The script of the flick which is penned by Ali himself is scheduled for a 2011 release and will go on the floor mid-September.
Earlier, director’s Sanjay Gadhvi and Dibakar Banerjee tried to cast Imran and Katrina together but their efforts failed as Gadhvi’s ‘7 Days In Paris’ went under financial crisis and Emraan Hashmi replaced Imran in Dibakar’s flick.
Now, the audience will be eagerly waiting to see their two favourite stars romancing on-screen.
