Aamir Khan always goes by his conviction. This is the reason why he tries to judge the pulse of the audience before deciding to work on projects. And if the project is a remake of an old hit then he doesn't start working on the film unless he is sure the audience is ready for it.
Earlier, he was thinking of remaking his hit film Andaz Apna Apnawith Salman Khan, but the project is in cold storage at the moment. Now, rumours are doing rounds that Aamir plans to remake Yaadon Ki Baraat, which was directed by his uncle Nasir Hussain.
Reports say that Aamir wants to essay Dharmendra's role. Nephew Imran Khan might be roped in as well. But one will have to wait and watch, as sources reveal that the perfectionist Khan would first like to test the market and would like to give an interesting spin to the 70s hit.
Another rumour suggests that the actor wants to open his own film academy.
