To the industry, actor Deepika Padukone is Shah Rukh Khan’s girl having made her debut in Om Shanti Om and she had also done a special number for his home production Billu. But it looks like Dippy has become good friends with one of the industry’s most powerful men, who’s also arguably Shah Rukh Khan’s arch rival.
First Dippy met up with Aamir Khan’s forthcoming productions’ lead actor Natha on Aamir’s request and again on Tuesday night, she walked in with her ‘close friend’ Sidhartha Mallya at the film’s private screening. “She is the next big thing and it is good to see that she does not believe in the so-called camps that exist in Bollywood. She is a professional who respects Aamir and his body of work,” says an eyewitness.
Salman was also present at the screening and it is a widely circulated gossip that he is planning a movie with Deepika. What’s also interesting is that Aamir, who is down with high fever, got out of bed to meet his dear friend Sachin Tendulkar at the screening.
