His most precious time spent with his family has been for the public to see when he would inevitably have his wife Gauri and kids Suhana and Aryan right by his side, enjoying the IPL matches of the ‘Kolkata Knight Riders’ a team of which he is a co- owner, with full fervor!

Recently, SRK had made a special plan to take his family for a summer holiday, and even managed to catch up with the FIFA World cup finals with them.

However, all good things do come to end, and now SRK is back to work with a vengeance. Thus, after the relaxed phase, he is on a tight shooting schedule, trying to finish off his shooting schedule of his home production ‘RA. ONE’, right on time.

His wife and kids have gone back due to the kid’s school and all that. But, does SRK miss that entire home sweet home syndrome?

Surpringly, it is a big Yes!Shahrukh Khan, the super star, has admittedly been quoted by tabloids as agreeing to the fact that he is a full on family man. He just loves to spend time with his wife and kids. He also is said to be very thankful to Gauri, for imparting some very great values in his kids.

SRK is well aware that, had it not been for his wife, he would never have made it to the top of the league of stars. This super star is all humble and gracious, he does agree that even for a super star like him – ‘Home is where the heart is’!

Aamir Khan moves court in multiplex dispute

Actor Aamir Khan [follow Aamir khan on facebook] and his production house, Aamir Khan Productions Private Limited, on Wednesday urged the Bombay high court to "end his harassment" after multiplex owners dragged him to the Competition Commission for forming a "cartel". The matter relates to last year's strike when film producers decided not to screen their movies in multiplexes over payment issues.

Khan and his production house moved the HC to challenge the show cause notice issued by the commission. "They want to drag witnesses and him to the commission in Delhi," said senior advocate Arshad Hidayutullah," adding that at the time of the strike, none of the films produced by Khan were up for release.

Khan's lawyer said that the commission seemed to have already made up its mind as its preliminary report had said there was substance to the allegations against the production house. Senior advocate for another production house, Janak Dwarkadas said the Competition Act was applicable only to goods.

Additional solicitor-general Darius Khambata said that the commission was empowered to hear the case. The next hearing is scheduled in the HC on August 2.

Katrina Kaif’s secret date with Ranbir?

Rumours of a romance brewing up between Katrina Kaif [follow Katrina kaif on facebook ] and Ranbir Kapoor just refuse to die down. Even though it’s been months since they stepped out together in public, latest buzz in tinsel town says they had a secret date in London this week.

Katrina, as you must all know by now, has been in Spain to shoot for director Zoya Akhtar’s film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and took some time off from work last Sunday to be with her family in London for a week.

Call it coincidence or discreet pre-planning, but Ranbir Kapoor flew to London during the week to shoot for an ad. With the two flames together in London, rumourmongers are saying that it couldn’t have been that they did not meet.

Whether they did or not is still a matter of speculation, Katrina is, meanwhile, flying back to Spain to resume the film’s shoot, while Ranbir has already flown to South Africa to continue the ad’s shoot.

Dostana 2 (Hindi, 2011) - Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham

Katrina Kaif will pick up Priyanka Chopra's lead female role in the sequel, while Abhisek Bachhan and John Abraham will step in as the lead male pair (who fudged being a gay couple in the original Dostana to be able to rent an apartment in Miami, FL, USA). Priyanka Chopra will appear in a cameo role in the sequel.

According to reports, Riteish Deshmukh and Shreyas Talpade will play a gay couple from Punjab in the sequel.

At this point, it is not clear if the storyline has four gay men or two. Arjun Rampal also seems to be in the star cast of Dostana-2.

Dostana was also the title of a 1980 Bollywood classic super-hit movie starring Amitabh Bachchan, Shatrughan Sinha, Zeenat Aman, Prem Chopra, Amrish Puri and others.

This was proved when people saw today's newspaper Saamna (Shiv Sena mouth piece), and found a half page advertisement by Shahrukh Khan wishing Uddav Thackeray on his 50th birth anniversary. The advertisement read "With Best Compliments From...Red Chillies Entertainment."

The tiff between Shiv Sena and the Bollywood super star Shahrukh Khan has made quiet a few headlines in the past. The recent one being Shiv Sena's protest against the release of Shahrukh's film My Name Is Khan. The party was upset with Khan, for speaking in favour of the Pakistani cricketers in the Indian Premier League.

This time the news is not about the fight but about the friendship offered by the Bollywood Superstar. Hope that the peaceful hand shake from Shahrukh Khan with the Shiv Sena man will surely be accepted by the Marathi Manus.

Rivalry ends, Shahrukh, Aamir now friends

Carrying the friendship forward, Aamir also invited Shahrukh for the premiere of ‘Peepli Live’. When asked, Aamir quickly replied, “Sure, Shah Rukh attended ‘Raavan’ premiere. I will definitely invite Shah Rukh to see ‘Peepli Live’.”

Indications emanating from Bollywood are in the sequel, Priyanka Chopra will be replaced with Deepika Padukone as Krrish's lover.

No Bigg Boss 4 for SRK

Though the fourth season of Bigg Boss is around the corner the host for the show is far from being finalised. After hosting season 3 of Bigg Boss, Amitabh Bachchan will not be able to anchor the show again because the channel does not repeat hosts on this show.

Says a source, “Unfortunately the channel has a weird policy not to repeat hosts on Bigg Boss. Moreover, by the time the channel officials realised that it was difficult to get a replacement it was too late. Big B had already committed himself to hosting season 4 of Kaun Banega Crorepati. So they consciously decided to look for another host.”

The channel then started wooing Shah Rukh Khan since he is viewed as one of the very few people who can fill Big B’s shoes. But despite all their efforts, the channel’s deal with King Khan has now fallen through.

Says the source, “The channel went all out to get Shah Rukh to host Bigg Boss 4. They even offered him a larger remuneration than Big B. But SRK could not agree to play host because of lack of time. The dates for Bigg Boss 4 clashed with Shah Rukh’s shooting schedule for Farhan Akhtar’s Don 2 with Priyanka Chopra in Bali.”

Channel sources confirm that SRK won’t do Bigg Boss, as he will be shooting in Bali at that time. The latest buzz is that the channel is now trying to get Akshay Kumar to play host on Bigg Boss 4. If he doesn’t agree, the channel will opt for a non-film celebrity to host the show.

Bollywood ace Aamir Khan in Dubai this week

DUBAI - Bollywood actor, director and producer will visit Dubai later this week as part of global promotional tour for his movie Peepli Live.

The actor confirmed the news on Saturday on Twitter, saying: “In London now. Travelling to LA, NY, Dubai and Australia for Peepli interviews and promotions.”

While no date was mentioned on the tweet, sources close to the actor told UAE news website Emirates 24|7 that Khan should arrive in Dubai by July 29 and will be staying at a luxury five-star creekside property in Deira for two nights. His wife Kiran Rao will also be joining him.

Peepli Live, the latest movie from Aamir Khan Productions, is a political satire on farmer suicides in India. The film has already won rave reviews at the Sundance and Berlin film festivals.

The movie is scheduled to be released on August 12 across the UAE.

Salman To Cast Kangana in His First Maiden Production

The film directed by Mahesh Manjrekar will cast Salman as the lead role.
